Today Waterstone Wellness officially opens its doors to help people find balance in their life through Reiki. For five years, I participated in intense life coaching, and for two of those years I wrote a blog about that journey as well as living a happy, whole life (you can read more about my journey here). This year I was called to turn my attention outward to help others, and put my hands where my mouth is!
I chose Reiki because it works on all levels–body, mind, emotional and spiritual. Therefore, I can help with specific situations, such as headaches or feeling sad, but also help those that just need time for themselves to relax and reconnect. I find so much joy in developing relationships with my clients by actively listening to their needs, customizing the Reiki treatment for their specific issues, and caring for them post session with detailed recommendations for their well-being. I believe Reiki is an excellent companion to my blog, as my intention is to guide people on their healing journey to wholeness. I am grateful to now have two powerful ways to do that. With my ever-present curiosity and desire to learn, I hope to add more tools to my healing toolbox, so stay tuned!
Spring is a great time for new beginnings, and I am thankful that on this sunny, beautiful day that I get to announce Waterstone Wellness’ new beginning. What about you? Are you thinking about starting something new? What’s stopping you! I have listed a few quotes below to inspire you to action and start your own wonderful, amazing, journey.
“The chief beauty about time
is that you cannot waste it in advance.
The next year, the next day, the next hour are lying ready for you,
as perfect, as unspoiled,
as if you had never wasted or misapplied
a single moment in all your life.
You can turn over a new leaf every hour
if you choose.”
― Arnold Bennett
“Learning is the beginning of wealth. Learning is the beginning of health. Learning is the beginning of spirituality. Searching and learning is where the miracle process all begins.”
“The heaviness of being successful was replaced by the lightness of being a beginner again, less sure about everything. It freed me to enter one of the most creative periods of my life.”
“Life is not a dress rehearsal. Stop practicing what you’re going to do and just go do it. In one bold stroke you can transform today.”
“Begin today. Declare out loud to the universe that you are willing to let go of struggle and eager to learn through joy.”
―Sarah Ban Breathnach
“I have always been delighted at the prospect of a new day, a fresh try, one more start, with perhaps a bit of magic waiting somewhere behind the morning.”
―J. B. Priestly
“Don’t look further for answers: be the solution. You were born with everything you need to know. Make a promise to stop getting in the way of the blessing that you are. Take a deep breath, remember to have fun, and begin.”
―Jonathan H. Ellerby
