About me

I am a YA author who lives and works in Brookline, Massachusetts, just outside Boston.  I write smart, funny rom-coms about people in the performing arts, people who dream of being someplace else, and/or people who think too much. 

I was born and raised in Florida. I attended the University of Florida, where I majored in English with a concentration in Children's Literature, which meant I got to read YA novels for homework. After graduating, I attended the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, where I got a Master's Degree in Library Science. I have been a school librarian in Brookline, Massachusetts since 2016. 

When I'm not writing or working, I can be found rowing, knitting sweaters, or finding new and interesting ways to squeeze more books into my tiny apartment.
